Author Book Signing

“Simple Prayers” is simply that: a collection of prayer poems. These poems include petitions for guidance, requests for life lessons, and words of praise and thanksgiving. The writing is heartfelt and sincere; it expresses the vulnerability and humanity of the writer. The book came from the writer’s daily journal writing; the prompts in the journal led to responses written in poetry form. In these poems, the writer shares her gratitude for all the blessings in her life, her uncertainties and fears about all that life brings, and her hope to serve God as He intends her to do.
